Floof is loved by both families and experts in the field. Read their experiences here.
'At our practice for supporting children with autism, we strive to create spaces where children can feel safe, comfortable, and fully engaged in their sensory and emotional development. One of the standout features of our sensory (snoezel) room has been the FloofCouture and it has quickly become one of the children’s absolute favorite materials.
The Floof is a warm, cozy, and inviting “nest” where children can fully relax, unwind, and feel a sense of security. We’ve seen children use it in so many creative and therapeutic ways: building tents around it, reading books while nestled inside, or simply playing quietly with fidget toys. It provides a comforting sensory environment that encourages self-regulation, mindfulness, and relaxation.
What stands out most is the way the Floof supports children in learning how to calm themselves. Many of our children, who often experience overstimulation or anxiety, are able to use the Floof to slow down, focus on their breathing, and enjoy a moment of calm. The material is tactile, inviting, and safe. It really encourages children to explore their senses while feeling protected.
From our perspective as practitioners, the Floof is an invaluable tool in our sensory room. It promotes emotional well-being, supports sensory integration, and encourages imaginative play. More than that, it’s simply fun and comforting, creating an environment where children are excited to explore, learn, and relax.
We have consistently observed that children gravitate toward the Floof, and it often becomes the centerpiece of their play and relaxation. For anyone creating a therapeutic or sensory space for children, especially those with autism, we cannot recommend FloofCouture highly enough, it’s truly transformative.' - Jonneke Koekhoven (KOEKIE autisme begeleiding)

‘I have been using the Floofs in my practice as an equine assisted coach for a while now and I am very enthusiastic. The children I work with are highly sensitive and love to come to themselves in the Floof. I use a special outdoor Floof outside with the horses and also have one in the practice room. Sometimes children use it during a group activity to take a moment for themselves in between. All children who use the Floof are very enthusiastic and feel safe in it. This feeling is very important and helps to calm our nervous system. Some children and adults have not felt this for a long time and learn to feel it again with the help of the horses. The Floof is a very nice tool that you can also take home with you. At Peers & Paarden we can no longer do without the Floofs!’ - Saskia van Baarsen (Peers & Paarden)

'As I thought they would be, the floofs have been a game changer with some of the more anxious kids, gently enveloping them and making them feel safe and happy to be in our world of singing and light xx' - Anna Newell (Anna Newell Theatre Adventures)
